Do One Act of Self Care Every Day

Make sure you carve out time to do one thing to take care yourself: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Check a box every day & be intentional with it. 

Focus on Gratitude

An attitude of gratitude is key! Try starting off every morning by naming everything you are grateful for. You might be surprised at how long the list gets once you get going!

Identify What You Have Learned

This year has been challenging for everyone. Focus on the positives by identifying everything you have learned this year: about yourself, your family, and ways you have grown!

Create a Family Time Capsule

What a wonderful craft for the whole family! Collect pictures, quotes, notes or letters from this year (perhaps even add in your lists of gratitude and what you have learned)

If You Need, Seek Out Help

It can be a counselor, clergy member, trusted friend, or mentor. Carving out the space to talk and process everything you’ve gone through this year, and how you can move forward in a positive direction in 2021.
